Isaac is here!!

Only hours after posting my last blog, I finally went into labor on my own. It was about 2 am when the contractions woke me up and by 5 am we were at the hospital. 3 hours later at 8:00 am on November 15th Isaac Thomas Griffin was born. He weighed 3690 grams (8 lbs 2 oz). I was very relieved that the labor went so fast (for me, it was very fast). I survived the natural birth and even the 5 day hospital stay (barely...on the later). I took a picture of one of my breakfasts just to give you an idea (the little white things in with the beans are fish, complete with eyeballs). Isaac is a very good baby and I seem to be recovering much better this time around. I hope it lasts....

Hi Griffins!

Congratulations on the new arrival! Isaac looks like a real cutie. Anna - We have no idea how you managed to survive eating that kind of hospital food for five days. Hope you guys are getting some rest. We'll need to chat with you guys once things are a little more settled.

Congrats again!

This is Braden.

Well, aren't you technologically up to date with this blog. I don't know how I feel about the child-pornography down at the bottom, but maybe that sort of thing flies in Japan.

Congratulations on the baby. I suppose Shane fancies himself a type of Abraham now, huh. Just don't ever let him take Isaac into the woods alone.

Hi Anna, Congratulations! He is so cute! I'm glad labor went fast...very fast. I was worried, but relieved after we heard you had the baby and I knew the hard part was all over for you. I thought the food at my hospital was unappetizing...I will never complain again. At least you had rice...

I am so happy to hear that everything went well. I am happy that you are blogging too. You know its funny because Isaac looks like he would be a small baby compared to the Japanese babies with their big heads. He is adorable. I can't wait to meet him.
